The TL;DR

• Mission: Support in key processes for clients’ regulatory compliance by gaining practical experience in accounting and tax areas.
• Tech Stack: Software required by the DIAN

What You’ll Actually Do
• Software Management: Maintain the software required by the DIAN for digital signatures.
• Tax Review: Review taxes in accordance with work papers approved by the Tax Support team.
• Authorization Request: Solicit client authorization for the Fiscal Auditor’s signature within the DIAN system, following Senior approval.
• Data Validation: Validate that the Fiscal Auditor authorized in DIAN corresponds with the internal database records.
• Declaration Processing: Sign declarations and provide the client with corresponding evidence, such as a screenshot of the signature.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently matriculated in Public Accounting or Business Administration, having approved a maximum of four semesters. Technical or technologist candidates with an interest in pursuing further studies will also be considered.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is required, though previous experience in accounting areas is considered desirable.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles (NIIF for PYMES or NIIF Plenas, depending on academic focus), Colombian tax regulations (national and territorial), general accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and document management. Basic English proficiency.
• Bonus: Previous experience in accounting areas.
