Accounting Clerk | Trucordia

This Accounting Clerk role is crucial for supporting daily billing and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing, and contributing to reliable financial operations that empower the broader team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile: Locate, review, and reconcile carrier commission statements, ensuring their accuracy and completeness with all supporting documentation.
• Collaborate: Work with agency representatives to support policy triage activities, helping to identify, track, and efficiently resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor: Oversee the month-end bank reconciliation process and provide essential support with research and issue resolution as needed.
• Maintain: Ensure that financial and operational data is accurately and consistently entered into internal systems in a timely manner.
• Contribute: Support the full month-end close process by staying aligned with key deadlines and contributing to the timely completion of assigned tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant accounting or financial experience, with demonstrated proficiency in general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processes, and the preparation of journal entries.
• Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to use functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas; exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize and meet deadlines; proven problem-solving and analytical abilities; strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
