What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Collaboration: Collaborate with Senior Associates, Managers, and group Partners to support and balance multiple client accounting needs.
• Financial Operations: Manage client bill payments, invoicing, and cash receipt applications in a timely fashion.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations, investigating and resolving any identified reconciling items.
• Close Processes: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for various clients.
• Payroll Management: Run payroll for clients and reconcile the related journal entries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A graduating college student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, preparing for an entry-level career in outsourced financial services.
• Experience: Demonstrated extensive experience with key accounting software platforms including QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, Justworks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and computer skills, strong communication abilities, and effective project management capabilities. The role requires a highly organized personality with strong attention to detail, the ability to work well on a team, and a flexible, adaptable attitude to new situations, including learning new software.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
