This role is crucial in supporting the Finance team by managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the organization’s financial processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Entry: Enter daily financial transactions into QuickBooks Online following established procedures.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage all accounts receivable activities, including diligent invoice follow-up and collections processes.
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices within expense tracking systems and carefully monitor payment schedules.
• Payroll Support: Compile and manage necessary payroll data to support efficient payroll processing.
• Financial Close & Audit Assistance: Assist with month, quarter, and year-end close activities and help prepare documentation required for financial and 401(k) audits.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support is required, with internships considered relevant.
• Skills: Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail are essential, alongside proficiency with macOS, GSuite, and QuickBooks Online.
• Bonus: Experience utilizing Slack, Ramp, and Rippling; knowledge of accounting principles within the Healthcare or Technology sectors; prior experience working in a remote environment.
