Accountant – Accounts Payable | RealREPP

The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Be responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payable to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Record Keeping: Establish and maintain accurate and appropriate records to ensure data integrity and currency within financial systems.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve straightforward accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely and effective manner.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular account reconciliation for assigned areas to assure the accuracy of financial records.
• Inquiry Response: Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner, providing clear and helpful information.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with basic accounting knowledge, supported by a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Preferred 1-3 years of accounting experience, demonstrating practical application of accounting principles and processes.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency with intermediate to expert level ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure, capable of analyzing and resolving basic issues, ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion, and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
