• Mission: Manages core transactional accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, supporting the organization’s financial health and operational efficiency.
• Tech Stack: QuickBooks Online, Justworks, Bill.com, Ramp, Google Sheets, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including accurate invoicing, timely payment posting, diligent monitoring of outstanding balances, and proactive collection efforts.
• Accounts Payable Oversight: Manage all accounts payable tasks, such as vendor onboarding, facilitating invoice approval, efficient payment processing, and thorough vendor reconciliation.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain precise general ledger records for revenue, expenditures, and paid media spend, ensuring proper classification and up-to-date financial information.
• Month-End Close Support: Assist in critical month-end close activities, performing tasks such as bank and credit card reconciliations and preparing necessary journal entries.
• Financial Reporting & Policy: Prepare essential financial information for various reporting needs and tax filings, and collaborate on updating fiscal policies and procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant field, or an associate’s degree combined with pertinent experience.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in managing transactional accounting functions and providing finance-related administrative support.
• Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information professionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and capacity to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience with QuickBooks Online, Justworks, Bill.com, and Ramp; experience in startup or growth environments.
