Accounting Assistant | HDR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Accounting: Assist with project budgeting, invoicing, monthly status reports, cost tracking, and recovering costs through project delivery.
• Financial Reporting: Pull and update weekly reports to provide management support.
• Expense Management: Review, annotate, and process expense documentation, including assisting with credit card purchase validation.
• Operational Accounting: Help maintain accurate staff timecards, review and process local accounts payable, and ensure appropriate approvals for overhead costs.
• Financial Record Keeping: Utilize computers to maintain financial records and support accounting reports.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: The role requires managing multiple projects independently, and experience in cost accounting is preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, and proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Outlook.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, along with an interest in growing in cost accounting, and the flexibility to collaborate effectively with various managers.
