Accounting Analyst I | U.S. Lubricants

U.S. Lubricants operates in the lubricants industry, and this entry-level position is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and optimizing cash flow through Accounts Receivable management. The analyst will provide essential support to the finance team, developing foundational financial analysis competencies and ensuring adherence to established accounting standards and procedures.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Operations: Execute routine accounting duties such as data entry, account reconciliations, month-end close journals and accruals, and financial reporting.
• Accounts Receivable Management: Manage the complete order-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, invoicing corrections, and reconciliation, while collaborating with the collections team to optimize cash flow.
• Process Improvement: Drive digital transformation within the Accounts Receivable function by implementing and adopting AI technology to enhance operational efficiency.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards, and assist in the preparation of audit documentation and responses to audit inquiries.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, suitable for an early career professional.
• Experience: 0-2 years of entry-level experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy; basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software; good organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
