What You’ll Actually Do
• Manufacturing Operations Support: Provide essential support to manufacturing operations by assisting with production material costing, analyzing monthly financial results, and forecasting monthly spending and variances.
• Budgeting and Inventory Management: Contribute to the annual budget analysis and preparation processes, and assist with the preparation and analysis of physical inventories.
• Month-End Close Management: Execute various month-end close processes, including the completion of journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and complete monthly financial reporting, assist with project tracking, and conduct miscellaneous financial analysis.
• General Accounting Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance department’s objectives and operational needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. This is an early career role with a foundation in general accounting and financial principles.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role. Cost Accounting experience is a plus.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing at all levels, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, capability to perform duties in a timely manner, and consistent follow-through on tasks and assignments.
• Bonus: Familiarity with ERP systems (QAD) or OneStream Financial System. Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Cyberquery, or Data Cubes. Preference for candidates with 3 years of experience in Accounting.
