The Tone:
This is a full-time role at WME Group, supporting its IMG Licensing division. IMG Licensing stands as a global leader in brand licensing, overseeing programs for the world’s most renowned brands and trademarks across diverse sectors including entertainment, fashion, and sports. As a Staff Accountant, this role is crucial in maintaining the financial integrity of client relationships, ensuring accurate royalty tracking, and supporting the overall financial operations of a global licensing business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Manage client invoicing, comprehensive royalty tracking, processing client payments, and preparing financial summaries based on the specific requirements outlined in representation agreements for an allocated portfolio of clients.
• Review: Review and verify royalty report input within the CRM system and the Guarantee/Royalty tracker for all assigned deals and client accounts.
• Support: Collaborate with the Accounting and Operations teams to efficiently fulfill various ad hoc financial requests from both internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Update: Accurately update quarterly financial projections in accordance with the corporate calendar and established deadlines.
• Perform: Perform essential monthly financial close responsibilities specifically for the Licensing division, contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience is preferred, including internships or entry-level roles.
• Skills: Strong technical accounting knowledge; proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; high attention to detail and organizational capabilities; ability to manage workload, prioritize, and collaborate effectively.
• Bonus: Experience with accounting software like SAP is a plus.
