Accountant | ROI Revolution, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at ROI Revolution, Inc., located in Raleigh, NC, with a hybrid work environment. ROI Revolution, a digital marketing agency operating since 2002, helps consumer brands accelerate growth and increase profitability through highly strategic, results-driven digital marketing services and technology. This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of accounting operations, playing a key role in supporting the business and making a meaningful impact from day one. You will work alongside a tight-knit accounting team, learning from experienced colleagues, improving processes, and contributing to projects that explore AI and automation in accounting workflows.

• Mission: Ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of accounting operations while supporting the business and improving processes.
• Tech Stack: Concur, AI and automation tools.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Invoicing: Participate in monthly client invoicing, which includes maintaining highly accurate revenue schedules, managing complex spreadsheets that support revenue allocation across multiple services, and ensuring proper accounting and reporting of employees’ billable hours through the billing system.
• Financial Transactions: Process accounts payable and maintain vendor accounts. This also involves ensuring receivables are collected promptly while maintaining exceptional accuracy in customer account records.
• Asset & Tax Compliance: Maintain the company’s fixed asset schedules by classifying fixed assets, calculating depreciation, and recording disposals. Additionally, prepare sales and use tax returns based on reporting requirements and complete property tax returns.
• Expense Reporting & Reconciliation: Serve as the company’s Concur expense software administrator, auditing employee expense reports. This also includes reconciling bank and credit card statements to maintain accurate financial records.
• Operational Support & Improvement: Support timely and accurate monthly and year-end accounting close cycles. Actively explore and utilize AI and automation tools to improve efficiency, identify opportunities to enhance productivity, and contribute to shaping evolving accounting practices, while completing ad hoc analyses as assigned by the Senior Controller.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; early-career professional with a strong accounting foundation.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, analytical problem solving, ownership and organization, continuous improvement, technology and innovation.
