The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Enterprise Mobility, located in Blue Ash, Ohio. Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, encompassing car rentals, carsharing, truck rental, and fleet management through brands like Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. This Accountant role provides foundational financial training and experience, serving as a direct career path to becoming a Controller or VP of Finance, crucial for overseeing financial management and balancing the company’s operational and marketing functions.

• Mission: Execute core accounting procedures and analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting, support operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall profitability and strategic growth of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and manage financial records, assisting in comprehensive financial reporting.
• Month-End Close: Participate in the timely and accurate month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze income statement fluctuations to understand business performance and provide process improvement and cost-saving ideas.
• Compliance & Audits: Conduct branch audit evaluations and other audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Financial Support: Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives, and perform bank reconciliation and account schedules.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Early Career.
• Experience: 6 months combined experience in two of the following: accounting-related job duties, customer service, and/or leadership.
• Skills: Preparation of financial statements, financial analysis, journal entry preparation, bank reconciliation, basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, basic proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Bonus: Planning to attain CPA within 1-2 years (flexible); flexibility for career advancement could include relocation outside the local area/state (flexible); valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years; no drug or alcohol related convictions (DUI/DWI) within the past 5 years.
