The Tone:
This is a full-time role at HaFSBX, located in Maplewood, Minnesota. HaFSBX designs and manufactures custom material handling systems for industries ranging from food processing to pharmaceuticals. This Accountant role is a key opportunity for an early-career professional to gain broad exposure across the accounting function, supporting the financial operations of a growing manufacturing company. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Month-End Close: Support the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Accounts Management: Assist with Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment application, aging reports, and collections follow-up.
• Expense Management: Manage and reconcile company credit card activity and employee expenses.
• Process Improvement: Help identify and implement accounting process improvements and automation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant accounting experience. Core knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP is required.
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to reconciliations, AR, AP, or month-end close. Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with accounting/ERP systems are essential.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple responsibilities, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, or similar systems; sales tax experience.
