Assurance Intern – Winter 2028 – Northeast WI | CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen)

The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), located in Green Bay and Sheboygan, WI. What You’ll Actually Do
• Assurance Execution: Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services for clients.
• Engagement Management: Support multiple client engagements to ensure completion on time and within budget, actively identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Knowledge Development: Gain experience and exposure to essential procedures, workpapers, and systems, while expanding industry knowledge through client interactions and formal training opportunities.
• Client & Team Communication: Communicate effectively and regularly with clients and CLA family members regarding project status and needs.
• Project Contribution: Complete research and special projects as needed, with a potential opportunity to prepare tax returns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level role, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a general knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Experience: Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements; proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
• Skills: General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting, proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office, willingness to learn new technologies, and effective communication.
• Bonus: A bachelor’s degree specifically in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred.
