What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statement Preparation: Execute core accounting procedures and principles, leading to the preparation of accurate financial statements and comprehensive financial analysis.
• Accounting Operations: Perform essential operational tasks, including assembling bank reconciliations, preparing account schedules, journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations.
• Month-End Closing and Analysis: Participate actively in a timely and accurate month-end closing process, and analyze income statement fluctuations to identify trends and provide insights.
• Audit and Compliance: Conduct thorough branch audit evaluations, manage financial records, and ensure strict compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Cross-functional Support: Assist personnel from various departments with questions regarding accounting policies and procedures, collaborate with other teams, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Entry-level position.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Skills: Financial statement preparation, financial analysis, journal entry preparation, bank reconciliation, and auditing procedures.
