The Tone:

This Accounting role is critical to supporting our business growth by ensuring financial accuracy, driving process improvements, and providing essential insights for smooth operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team and contribute to these vital functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, applying payments, generating aging reports, and following up on collections.
• Accounts Payable: Process accounts payable invoices, ensure proper coding and approvals, and prepare payments.
• Company Credit Cards: Oversee company credit card management, including issuing cards, reviewing expenses for compliance, and performing reconciliations.
• Month-End Close: Support month-end close activities, preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives focused on process improvement and accounting automation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a foundational understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience, specifically with exposure to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and reconciliations.
• Skills: Proficient in Excel and comfortable with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, good communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Experience with sales tax.
