What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and present comprehensive financial records, reports, and statements to provide clear insights into the school’s financial position.
• Transaction Management: Efficiently handle all accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank statements and various company accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Budget Support: Actively assist in the development of operational budgets, financial forecasting models, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure all financial operations, documentation, and reporting strictly adhere to established accounting standards, internal policies, and relevant regulations.
• Audit Assistance: Provide comprehensive support for both internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary financial documentation and information are readily available.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
• Experience: Possess previous experience in accounting or finance roles, coupled with a solid working knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting methodologies.
• Skills: Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software, along with strong analytical and numerical skills to process and interpret financial data. Additionally, demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Bonus: Experience with specialized accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero is beneficial. Further, knowledge of tax regulations and compliance, practical experience in financial reporting and analysis, and strong organizational and communication skills are highly valued.
