This is a full-time Staff Accountant role at Company. This position is crucial for maintaining the financial health and integrity of our operations. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting critical accounting processes, and contributing to the overall financial transparency of the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statement Management: Prepare and meticulously manage all financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts, for designated business units.
• General Ledger and Reconciliations: Prepare accurate journal entries, maintain comprehensive supporting schedules and documentation, and perform thorough bank reconciliations.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze and explain variances within Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts, and prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses for leadership.
• Accounting Close and Audits: Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and provide essential support during year-end audits and banking-related audit procedures.
• Compliance and Controls: Prepare and file applicable sales tax returns, maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules, and assist with the evaluation and implementation of internal controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required. Candidates should possess a strong foundational understanding of financial calculations, including figures, percentages, and comprehensive account analysis.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Skills: This role demands strong analytical and numerical abilities, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail. The ability to be highly organized, manage multiple priorities effectively, and adapt to changing business needs is also crucial.
• Bonus: Public accounting experience and/or CPA certification are highly valued and considered a significant plus.
