This is an Accelerated Development Program for recent college graduates at Trane Technologies, offering on-site rotations in various US locations including Davidson, NC. • Mission: Build a strong foundation of corporate finance and accounting concepts to support Trane Technologies’ mission.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Cost Accounting: Perform comprehensive cost accounting duties in a plant setting, including analysis and management of costs, during a 12-month rotation in specified locations.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Contribute to detailed financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis activities at the US Corporate Headquarters in Davidson, NC for a 9-month rotation.
• Audit & Compliance: Engage in internal audit and compliance processes, ensuring financial integrity, adherence to policies, and robust controls at the US Corporate Headquarters in Davidson, NC for a 9-month rotation.
• Business Partnership: Develop business acumen and partnership skills, collaborating effectively with various stakeholders to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment.
• Financial Control: Proactively identify, implement, and manage sound financial processes, policies, and controls, leveraging continuous improvement methodologies and utilizing financial systems for decision-making and performance evaluation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, completed prior to the start date, with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Minimum of one degree-related internship or six months of related work experience. Demonstrated leadership skills, evidenced by at least two examples such as a school club officer or sports team captain.
• Skills: Ability to adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances, proactive eagerness to seek new information and experiences, effective collaboration with others in a positive work environment, and the capability to identify, implement, and manage sound financial processes, policies, and controls.
• Bonus: Geographic flexibility required both during and after the completion of the program, and U.S. citizenship or the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
