Job Description:
This paid internship (Fall 2025 – Spring 2026) focuses on the business-to-business travel agency sales channel. The intern will gain experience in various aspects of this channel, including:
• Conference Support: Assisting in the planning and logistics of a large-scale agent conference (U-Preferred’s third conference). This involves organizing supplies and managing event details.
• Client Event Management: Supporting client training events, including organizing supplies.
• Account Management: Contributing to account management tasks, such as client communication (email), reporting, merchandise inventory, and fulfillment.
• Presentation Development: Developing presentation skills for live and webinar formats.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Reading and running reports, preparing for training events, and conducting competitive analyses.
• Software Utilization: Utilizing software such as Salesforce.
• Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understanding and actively participating in EHS responsibilities by adhering to Universal Orlando’s policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities: The role encompasses supporting the planning and logistics for a large-scale conference, assisting with client events, managing client communication, reporting, and inventory, developing presentation skills, conducting data analysis, and utilizing software like Salesforce. The intern will also be involved in maintaining EHS standards.
Location & Requirements: This is an in-person internship based in Orlando, Florida. Applicants must be pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution, with a minimum 2.8 GPA. Senior-level standing or above is required, with a graduation date after April 2026. Housing and transportation are the intern’s responsibility, though financial assistance for housing may be available. Universal Orlando does not provide housing.
