ABA Behavior Technician | ACES

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at ACES, involving direct client work in various center, home, and school settings throughout our service areas. The TL;DR
• Role: Part Time
• Type: Part-time (medical, dental, and vision benefits available for most part-time employees)
• Location: Various centers, client homes, and schools within service areas (requires reliable transportation)
• Pay: $22–$28 hourly for clinical work, plus up to $4,500 in annual performance bonuses (paid monthly). Non-clinical work is paid at $16.90 hourly. Guaranteed $1 hourly increase after first year in good standing.
• Team: Provide one-on-one direct treatment to clients, supported by a best-in-class training team with access to mentorship and career development.
• Mission: Enable children with autism to enhance communication, problem-solving, and social interactions, helping them reach their full potential.
• Tech Stack: Company-provided iPad for data tracking.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide: Deliver one-on-one direct therapeutic services to children with autism in centers, homes, or schools.
• Implement: Apply learned therapeutic techniques from our industry-leading training program to reinforce positive behaviors.
• Monitor: Accurately track client progress and growth using electronic health data on a company-issued iPad.
• Facilitate: Support clients in developing and enhancing their communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and social interactions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professionals who are currently enrolled in college or have completed at least one college course.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required.
• Skills:
• Patience, empathy, and a strong passion for supporting others.
• Sound judgment in responding to different situations common among our clients.
• Effective and compassionate communication skills when interacting with children and caregivers.
• Eagerness to learn and comfort navigating tablet technology.
• Access to reliable transportation for commuting to various client settings (including schools, ACES locations, and client homes).
• Schedule flexibility to conduct sessions at times most needed by client families.
• Bonus: Experience in roles such as camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or childcare volunteer.
