• Mission: Perform accounting and financial activities on accounts and funds in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Activities: Perform accounting and financial activities on accounts and funds under close supervision.
• Financial Statement Management: Assemble interrelated financial statements and verify the recording of expenditures, entries, and postings to general ledgers.
• Financial Analysis Support: Assist operations personnel and cost coordinators with financial analysis and reporting.
• Regulatory Review: Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations.
• Process Improvement: Assist in analyzing financial operations and recommending enhancements to policies or procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a closely related field, or currently pursuing one at an accredited four-year university. This is an entry-level position for current students or recent graduates within 12 months prior to the internship start date.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, highly accurate and detail-oriented, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
