The Tone:
This is a summer internship at Wells Fargo, located in Denver, CO, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, and San Francisco, CA. This role is designed to provide undergraduate students with a fundamental understanding of Commercial Banking and potential career paths. What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in formal internship program activities, workshops, and various initiatives to enhance your learning.
• Complete: Execute numerous assignments to familiarize yourself with policies and procedures for low-to-medium complex tasks and deliverables.
• Analyze: Conduct research and financial analysis to assess client needs and identify optimal Wells Fargo products and services.
• Collaborate: Partner with relationship managers, product specialists, and credit underwriters to support real-time business efforts that drive client outcomes.
• Navigate: Receive direction from a manager, exercise independent judgment, and prioritize work while developing knowledge of compliance and risk management requirements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (all majors welcome) with an expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2028.
• Experience: 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities is preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills; solid problem solving and decision-making skills; strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bonus: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with AI powered productivity tools; demonstrated knowledge, interest, or experience in finance, accounting, and sales; proven ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative atmosphere; energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, acts with urgency, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.
