The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Seasonal, Part-time (Minimum 20 hours per week from January 2027 through April 15, 2027)
• Location: In-person, Amherst, NY
• Pay: $23 hourly
• Mission: To provide hands-on experience in tax and audit projects, building a foundation for a thriving career in accounting through a variety of client projects and interaction with experienced professionals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Return Preparation: Assist with the preparation of corporate, partnership, individual, and trust tax returns.
• Financial Reporting: Support financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for diverse clients.
• Client Project Involvement: Work on a variety of client projects, gaining exposure to different industries.
• Professional Interaction: Interact with experienced professionals to build a foundation for a successful career.
• Training & Development: Receive substantial on-the-job training and exposure to firm leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Junior standing or higher, actively pursuing an Accounting Degree from an accredited college or university, and eligible to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
• Experience: Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week from January 2027 through April 15, 2027.
• Skills: A minimum GPA of 3.0; communicate effectively and timely with teams and clients; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; organized, proactive, and detailed oriented; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; be a team player.
