Audit Intern | AtlasQuo

The Tone:
This is an Audit Intern position at AtlasQuo, operating under a hybrid model with required travel to client sites and AtlasQuo offices. AtlasQuo’s Assurance practice provides definitive auditing services, working to protect the capital markets and the investing public through financial reporting and data analysis. This role is a significant launchpad for a career in accounting, finance, or even the C-suite, offering a broad business perspective. You will develop a deep understanding of the inner workings of businesses and apply your accounting knowledge to solve complex challenges.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: Hybrid – with required travel to client sites and AtlasQuo offices
• Pay: $37.50–$48.08 hourly
• Mission: This person will provide crucial support in accounting, financial reporting, and data analysis, identifying audit issues and contributing to the integrity of capital markets by delivering reliable auditing services to clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships in financial statements with detailed analytical trend analysis.
• Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism while working in clients’ environments and providing exceptional service.
• Compliance: Operate effectively in a regulated environment, with a focus on protecting the capital markets and the investing public.
• Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with AtlasQuo’s clients to provide definitive auditing services that the capital markets and the client can rely upon.
• Insights: Share the story of value-added insights discovered through data analysis with AtlasQuo’s clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, supported by a strong academic record. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required, with a preference for candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Experience: Meet the minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state your base office is located prior to beginning full-time employment and have a demonstrable plan for passing the CPA exam. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future. The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary, with travel potentially required beyond your work location based on client and project needs. Access to reliable transportation to/from the company office and client sites.
• Skills: Excellent English language communication skills; Ability to identify potential audit issues and unusual relationships in financial statements through detailed analytical trend analysis; Professionalism in client environments; Effective operation within a regulated environment.
• Bonus: An interest in working with AtlasQuo’s team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model, with an expectation for most external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. For candidates interested in the Government & Public Sector industry, U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher within the designated time frame. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
