Description: 2025 EBSCO Product Management Internship
This is a remote, U.S.-based internship (excluding territories) for undergraduate students graduating in December 2025 or later. The internship runs from June 2025, and the work hours are 9 am – 5 pm EDT. It’s a cross-disciplinary experience designed to provide college students with real-world B2B product management experience within a large company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Learn from Experienced Product Managers: Observe and learn how full-time product managers gather data, write requirements, create designs, make decisions, and launch products that solve customer and user problems. This includes actively asking questions and building relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
• Develop Key Skills: Cultivate curiosity and a strong capacity for learning. Structure insights, work independently and collaboratively, and communicate effectively. Learn to balance data ambiguity with clarity, challenge assumptions, and understand the “why” behind business decisions. Develop a scientific approach to testing hypotheses and validating results.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across various teams based on interest and skills (market analysis, competitive intelligence, product analytics, user research, design thinking, product specifications, requirements, and product strategy). Contribute to high-impact initiatives and collaborate on projects throughout the product lifecycle.
• Team: Be part of the Product Management team, working with business units including SaaS, Research Databases, Proprietary Products and Content, and UX Research and Design.
Currently pursuings:
• Undergraduate student graduating December 2025 or later, eligible to work in the USA.
• Experience working with software (computer science background, applied technology, business background, or academic involvement).
• Strong academic record or demonstrated experience building digital products.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Currently pursuings:
• Willingness to take on challenging projects and proactively solve problems.
• Leadership experience (cross-functional or co-team leadership).
• Experience with Product Management (prior internships or projects).
• Experience with programming or coding (prior internships or projects).
