The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law is a nonpartisan law and policy institute dedicated to reforming, revitalizing, and defending America’s systems of democracy and justice. Through rigorous research, innovative policy development, and advocacy, we work to protect the rule of law and constitutional democracy, focusing on voting rights, campaign finance reform, ending mass incarceration, and balancing civil liberties with national security across legislative, judicial, and public spheres.
