Active Minds is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the culture around mental health. With a presence on over 1,000 high school and college campuses, in corporate settings, and with a broad public reach, Active Minds builds supportive communities and saves lives. Founded in 2003 following the suicide of founder Alison Malmon’s brother, the organization is committed to ending the silence surrounding mental health and elevating its importance to equal that of physical health. Active Minds employs various programs, including the Send Silence Packing® traveling exhibit and Active Minds Speakers, to achieve cultural and behavioral change nationwide.
