This is a posting for the 2026 Summer Internship Program – AMERS offered by BlackRock.
• Region and Locations: The program is available across the Americas, specifically in Canada and the United States. Cities where the internship may be held include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Montreal, New York, Newport Beach, Princeton, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Sausalito, Seattle, Toronto, Washington DC, and Wilmington.
• Recruitment Year: The program is for the 2026 recruitment year.
• Program Overview: The Summer Internship Program is a intensive nine-week experience, typically taking place from June through August. Its primary objective is to offer students a challenging, meaningful, and supportive internship that closely simulates the experience of a full-time BlackRock Analyst.
• Program Structure and Benefits:
• The program commences with a comprehensive orientation providing an in-depth overview of the firm and opportunities to hear from senior leaders.
• Interns receive hands-on, on-the-job training and are assigned day-to-day responsibilities, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to their respective teams throughout the summer.
• Beyond direct work, the program includes a speaker series, a mentoring component, and various networking opportunities, including engagements with BlackRock’s employee networks.
• Future Opportunities: Successful interns who enjoy the program are encouraged to explore and consider applying to BlackRock’s Full-Time Analyst Program after their internship concludes.
• Eligibility: The program is open to undergraduate or master’s students who are projected to graduate between September 2026 and July 2027.
• Application Restrictions:
• Candidates are permitted to apply for only one program (e.g., Summer Internship Program or Quantitative Master’s Internship Program) within a given year.
• Within their chosen program, applicants can select up to two specific functions (e.g., Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling). Both opportunities must be applied for using the same program application.
• If an applicant withdraws their application, they will be unable to submit another application for this program within the same year.

• Upon submission of the initial application, candidates will receive an email prompting them to complete a pre-interview assessment.
• This assessment must be completed and submitted within five days of receiving the email. Failure to do so will result in the automatic withdrawal of the application.
