Job Description
This is a temporary, onsite IT Intern position with Kaleida Health, located at the Larkin Bldg @ Exchange Street in Buffalo, NY.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
As an IT Intern, you will work closely with the IT implementation team to support the Epic (Electronic Medical Record – EMR) implementation. This role provides hands-on experience in healthcare IT. Successful candidates must possess a working knowledge of computer skills, including proficiency with common software tools and platforms. The role requires the ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. Demonstrating professionalism, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude are also essential.
Education & Credentials:
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be a current college student pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Health Informatics, IT, or related disciplines.
Working Conditions & Hours:
• The position falls under the KH Information Technology Applications Department.
• Standard Bi-Weekly Hours are 75.00.
• The role has a Weekend/Holiday Requirement and On Call Requirement (without rotation).
• Scheduled work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Shift 1).
• This is an Onsite work arrangement.
• The position is Non-Union (N00 – Non Union KH).

Compensation:
• Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly.
• The Salary Range is $15.00 – $20.63 per hour.
• The final wage will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
