Job Description: Part-Time Driver
This position is for a Part-Time Driver located at 12300 Kiln Court, Suite D, Beltsville, MD 20705.
Hours:
The role is for 32 hours per week, with primary shifts from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. There will be occasional requirements to cover an earlier shift from 2:00 am – 9:00 am.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safe and timely delivery of products (imaging and theragnostic agents) to various facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and other customer locations.
• Operating modern company vehicles in the Beltsville, MD area to perform deliveries, strictly complying with instructions and prescribed routines, methods, or procedures.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area, adhering to safety procedures and equipment operating rules.
• A significant portion of the job, 25%-60% of the time, involves working within the pharmacy area, specifically following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and disinfecting tools and work areas.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Experience: Driver or runner work experience is preferred, with a preference for 1 year of relevant experience.
• Customer Focus: Candidates should be customer-focused and team-oriented, exhibiting qualities of a courteous, caring, and safe driver.
• Physical Demands: Requires light, occasional physical effort to move, lift, and deliver containers and boxes weighing up to 65 lbs.
• Mental and Visual Attention: Continuous mental and visual attention is required for driving and product delivery, involving work that demands constant alertness or activity.
• Driving: Must have the ability to operate a vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Compensation and Benefits:
• The starting hourly rate is $18.50.
