Job Description: Registered Nurse RN (PRN)
Three Oaks Hospice is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN (as needed) position to join their leading team of hospice care professionals. This role is crucial in making a difference by listening, caring, and serving patients.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary functions of the Registered Nurse are to:
• Administer skilled nursing care for clients of all ages in their place of residence.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, the patient/family, and the referring agency.
• Assume responsibility for the overall coordination of care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current state driver’s license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience:
• Two years of experience as an RN in a clinical care setting.
• Hospice or home health experience is preferred.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Proficient skill using a computer is required; Microsoft Office suite experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide effective support to the patient and family.
• Demonstrated skill in nursing practice.
• Ability to cope with family emotional stress.
• Tolerance of individual lifestyles.
