Job Description:
This is a paid, part-time, long-term (6 months to 1 year) Technical Writing Intern position within the Research & Development department at Dermalogica, located in Carson, CA. The intern will support the development of technical documents related to the cosmetics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and Documentation: Research cosmetic ingredients and their functionalities, document skin biology basics, summarize data from cosmetic clinical trials, and elaborate on claim support documents.
• Technical Writing: Write clear and concise technical documents explaining cosmetic ingredient functionality, skin biology, impacts of cosmetic actives, and create summaries of clinical trials.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with R&D and marketing teams to gather information and collaborate with subject matter experts.
• Editing and Review: Edit and proofread documents for clarity, coherence, and technical accuracy.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on cosmetic science and skin biology research and trends.
