DS Systems offers an internship program designed to provide hands-on, portfolio-driven experience for college students interested in technology, cybersecurity, government consulting, or federal IT. They focus on creating simulated, portfolio-ready projects for interns to showcase their abilities.
Job Description:
This is a remote IT internship open to U.S.-based students enrolled in a 2-year associate’s or 4-year undergraduate program (any major). The internship is unpaid and lasts for 5 weeks.
During the internship, you will:
• Complete five guided projects (one per week) covering areas like coding, data visualization, and IT strategy simulations.
• Build a public portfolio of these projects hosted on the DS Systems website.
• Receive mentorship from senior professionals in government contracting.
• Potentially receive LinkedIn referrals and recommendation letters upon successful completion.
• Gain brand-building support for a future in tech or federal consulting.
• Have a featured profile on the DS Systems website.
• Potentially receive college credit (check with your school advisor).
• Expand your network in the federal technology space.
Ideal candidates are passionate about technology, possess strong written communication and time management skills, are curious, and committed to learning. No prior federal experience is required.
