About the Company:

ASML US and its affiliates develop lithography machines used in the production of microchips. These machines enable chipmakers to reduce chip size and increase functionality. ASML is headquartered in Veldhoven, Netherlands, with 18 US office locations.

Job Description:

This is an internship opportunity to develop next-generation methods for engineering analysis of Multiphysics problems. The intern will work in a team environment and contribute to the ASML analysis team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Specific tasks will be tailored to the intern’s education and experience level and the current needs of the ASML analysis team, examples include:
• Reduced Order Modeling (ROM)
• Machine Learning
• Uncertainty quantification (UQ)
• CFD post-processing
• Work in a team environment alongside experienced engineers.
• Document project and present the results to ASML analysis stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Science, or a similar discipline. Masters or PhD is preferred.

Skills:

• Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics.
• Experience using OpenFOAM/ SnappyHexMesh or StarCCM+, COMSOL software.
• Experience in Physics-Informed Neural Network, Machine Learning frameworks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated team player with a quality orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
