Job Description: Internship

ASML is offering an internship opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation methods for engineering analysis of Multiphysics problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Specific tasks tailored to the intern’s education/experience and ASML’s needs, potentially including:
• Reduced Order Modeling (ROM)
• Machine Learning
• Uncertainty Quantification (UQ)
• CFD post-processing
• Work in a team environment with experienced engineers.
• Document project and present results to ASML stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Science, or a similar discipline. A Masters or PhD is preferred.

Skills:

• Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics.
• Experience using OpenFOAM/ SnappyHexMesh or StarCCM+, COMSOL software.
• Experience in Physics-Informed Neural Network, Machine Learning frameworks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Team player with a quality orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

Other Information:

• This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA.
• A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
• The role involves physical activities such as sitting, walking, using hands, stooping, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities are required.
• Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing protective gear.
