About Company and Job Description
The Samsung SOC Lab is focused on creating innovative SoC architecture, bus/memory subsystems, multimedia subsystems, and key IP blocks for future Samsung Galaxy products, including smartphones, tablets, and other future devices. The lab is developing high-performance SoC architectures for various Galaxy device lineups, collaborating with strategic partners, the Samsung MX headquarters team, and R&D teams globally to innovate technology that impacts millions of users.
Position: Intern
The lab is seeking interns to participate in building an SoC modeling infrastructure for the analysis and modeling of new SoC architectures and features for next-generation mobile products. The intern will contribute to the following:
• Writing software to automate workload trace collection, processing, parsing, and integration.
• Integrating different modules into an integrated system for system-level architectural trade-off studies.
• Performing performance modeling and analysis of hardware features, applications, benchmarks, and use cases.
