Job Description: Technical Engineering Intern
This internship offers a proactive, detail-oriented individual the chance to support the Technical Engineering team. The intern will manage three key projects crucial for maintaining audit-ready processes, standardized documentation, and smoothly running control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit Preparation: This involves collecting, standardizing, and organizing all relocation-related documentation (policies, authorizations, expense records). The intern will create a clear filing structure and index for efficient future audits.
• Cross-Functional OPL Launch (Pineville): The intern will define the scope, stakeholders, and success metrics for a new Open-Point List (OPL) process stabilization rollout at the Pineville facility. Responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating kickoff meetings, tracking action items, and developing initial OPL training materials.
• Control Plan Conversion to SOCOS: This task requires reformatting 87 existing released control plans to meet SOCOS template requirements. The intern will submit reformatted plans for approval through WorkON, track sign-offs, and ensure final release in SOCOS.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (various disciplines including Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing), or Business Management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across different teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
