Job Description: Specialist, Project Management
This role serves as the crucial link between Macy’s marketing, creative, and media teams, overseeing the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns. The Specialist, Project Management is responsible for:
• Leading Cross-Functional Workflows: Managing the flow of work for seasonal and ongoing campaigns, ensuring alignment and timely delivery across teams.
• Developing and Managing Project Schedules: Creating comprehensive project plans, identifying milestones, potential risks, and dependencies.
• Providing Strategic Oversight: Ensuring timelines, deliverables, and expectations are clearly defined and met throughout campaign execution.
• Maintaining Project Visibility: Using clear documentation, trackers, and communication to keep all stakeholders informed of progress.
• Acting as a Central Point of Contact: Connecting strategy with execution by facilitating communication between marketing, creative, and media teams.
• Facilitating Communication and Feedback: Driving decision-making, resolving issues, and fostering stakeholder engagement.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying and addressing challenges to ensure project success.
• Providing Project Updates: Regularly updating leadership and stakeholders on project status, deliverables, and any relevant information.
• Process Optimization: Adhering to established processes while also identifying opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Driving Campaign Momentum: Providing leadership, focus, and accountability across teams.

Required Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in project/program management, creative operations, or brand marketing, with a strong focus on agency management.
• Experience managing multi-platform campaign execution, ensuring seamless integration of creative assets.
• Deep understanding of 360-degree campaign execution (digital, social, video, in-store, experiential marketing).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in retail, fashion, or consumer brand marketing is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (experience with Monday.com is a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
