What You’ll Actually Do
• Elicit Requirements: Work closely with clients to elicit requirements and translate them into actionable steps for software engineers.
• Collaborate on Goals: Collaborate with developers to ensure understanding of project goals and user expectations.
• Document Specifications: Develop functional specifications, use cases, and flow diagrams for clarity.
• Monitor Progress: Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
• Act as Liaison: Serve as a liaison between clients and the development team throughout the project lifecycle.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a general understanding of software development processes. This role is based in the U.S. and no previous business analyst experience is required as training is provided.
• Experience: No prior business analyst experience is needed.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop workable solutions, and a general understanding of software development processes.
• Bonus: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and data visualization software.
