Job Description:
This is a limited-duration internship (maximum ten months) in their wealth management division, located in Pasadena, California. The role is designed to provide interns with practical experience and skills development within the global wealth management industry.
Responsibilities:
• Gaining industry and organizational knowledge through daily tasks and assignments.
• Developing business, financial, and analytical skills relevant to a career in global wealth management and financial services.
• Providing marketing and sales support to branches and their teams.
• Conducting market research.
• Gaining exposure to wealth management business practices, products, services, and client financial needs.
Requirements:
• High school diploma is required; pursuing a college degree is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to learn more about the global wealth management business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
Compensation:
The expected starting hourly rate is $20. However, the final base pay will be determined individually and is only one component of the total compensation package. This package *may• include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentives, and Morgan Stanley-sponsored benefits.
