Job Description: Software Engineering Intern

This internship offers a chance to contribute to Intel’s software engineering landscape. Interns will gain experience across various technical software skills and play a crucial role in delivering open and secure software platforms. The work will involve contributing to industry standards and ensuring software remains a competitive advantage for Intel’s products. Interns will be involved in building the infrastructure of the future, developing solutions for big data and intelligent devices, and accelerating the adoption of cloud computing.

Specific responsibilities include:

Code Review: Participating in code review processes.
Hardware Design Review for Software Engineering: Reviewing hardware designs from a software engineering perspective.
High-Level Software Design and Programming: Designing and implementing software solutions.
Software Architecture Input and Feedback: Providing input and feedback on software architecture decisions.
Software Debug: Debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
Programming and Scripting: Honing programming and scripting abilities across various languages.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate or be developing skills in these areas, contributing to the software ecosystem that powers Intel’s innovative products. This is an entry-level position, and the internship is available for Summer 2025 and Fall 2025. Relocation benefits may be available depending on location and job specifics. The work model is hybrid, allowing a blend of on-site and off-site work. The position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship.
