Job Description: Summer Internship (Hybrid – Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY)

This hybrid internship offers college students a comprehensive experience to prepare them for entry into the business world. The program aims to provide a full understanding of Zebra Technologies’ various functions, enabling interns to envision a career with the company.

Purpose: To prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Increase technology knowledge and skills.
• Develop team-based work proficiencies.
• Develop interpersonal skills through follow-up activities with business contacts.
• Gain knowledge and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes, and learn to apply this knowledge in diverse situations.
• Work on assigned summer projects in one of Zebra’s key IT focus areas (Database Administration, IT Enterprise Solutions, Zebra Software Licensing, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, Digital Automation & Innovation, or another assigned Zebra IT function). Projects will be assigned based on business needs and candidate skills/interests.
• Execute technical deliverables as defined in each summer project plan.
• Support key IT projects from various perspectives.
• Interact with senior Information Technology leaders.
• Actively participate in Zebra Internship Program activities (summer outings, community service events, and interactions with senior leadership).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program (MBA/MS) in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related major.
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2025 – May 2026 (undergraduate) or December 2025 – May 2027 (master’s).
• Authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences.
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Work Location: Hybrid, requiring at least 3 days of in-office attendance per week in either Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY.
