Global Product Management Cloud Intern
This is a 100% remote, 12-week internship program offered to undergraduate and graduate students.
Responsibilities:
• Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct a comprehensive study of the cloud device management space, focusing on UC and IoT services.
• Identify key competitors and analyze their features and capabilities.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing the findings, including market trends, threats, and opportunities.
• Feature Mapping and Gap Analysis:
• Map the features and capabilities of competitive platforms against Shure’s cloud device management service.
• Identify gaps in Shure’s current offerings compared to competitors.
• Collaborate with product management to prioritize these gaps based on customer needs and market potential.
• Feature Definition and API Design:
• Work with product management to define new features for Shure’s cloud platform to address identified gaps.
• Develop detailed specifications for these features, including user stories, functional requirements, and technical documentation.
• Define and document APIs required to implement these new features, ensuring they align with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field with an interest in product management.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to process large amounts of data and extract useful insights.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing, UC, and IoT technologies.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiar with API design and documentation.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Compensation:
• Competitive intern compensation, ranging from $21-$40 per hour based on job function and year completed in school.
