This Senior Functional Consultant position is crucial for the Workday Success Plans Delivery Team, ensuring customers maximize the long-term value from their Workday products post go-live by solving their evolving business needs through targeted micro-consulting engagements and expert application of Workday solutions.

• Mission: To ensure customers maximize the value from their Workday products post-go-live by acting as a trusted advisor, delivering targeted micro consulting engagements, and assisting with configuration, troubleshooting, and feature adoption.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver targeted consulting engagements: Provide small scope consulting services to customers, offering in-depth configuration guidance, comprehensive feature demonstrations, key considerations, and practical tips & tricks to address their specific requests.
• Troubleshoot and optimize configurations: Conduct thorough troubleshooting of product configurations to efficiently resolve identified issues or recommend optimal product setups that precisely meet customer business requirements.
• Educate and accelerate feature adoption: Create and deliver engaging customer presentations (e.g., Accelerator Webinars) on how to effectively use Workday features to achieve strategic business goals, alongside providing one-on-one consulting (Feature Accelerator) to accelerate customer feature adoption.
• Conduct tenant reviews: Systematically review customer tenants to proactively identify and highlight opportunities for enhanced Workday feature adoption, providing detailed deliverables that outline areas for optimization.
• Maintain and share Workday expertise: Continuously complete and maintain relevant Workday Certification(s), ensure deep product knowledge, stay current with the Workday roadmap, keep up to date with industry practices, and share this expertise as a trusted Workday advisor.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience, preparing candidates for a senior-level functional consulting role focused on Talent, Learning, or Recruiting domains.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of functional experience specifically within Talent, Learning, or Recruiting on the Workday platform, complemented by 10 years of IT implementation experience and at least 2 years in software consulting.
• Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking abilities to understand complex, technical process issues and effectively facilitate/influence decision making; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; and the capacity to multitask across multiple engagements and deliverables simultaneously.
• Bonus: Ideal candidates will hold a Workday Certification in HCM and at least one of Absence, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, or Recruiting, with an advanced degree also preferred.
