Sales Executive (2027 Graduate Program) | Engtal
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Engtal, located in Chicago, IL. You will be instrumental in building a specialist market, cultivating client and candidate relationships, and managing the complete recruitment process, directly contributing to the firm’s continued growth and success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Acquisition: Prospect for new business and develop client relationships through calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking events.
• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their businesses, hiring challenges, and talent needs.
• Talent Sourcing: Headhunt high performing professionals within your specialist market and conduct candidate screening and qualification calls.
• Recruitment Management: Manage the interview process from candidate submission through to offer, including negotiating fees, salaries, and employment offers.
• Market Engagement: Attend and host networking events while building a strong personal brand and becoming a trusted voice within your market.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduating in Spring or Summer 2027 with a genuine interest in building a career in sales.
• Experience: Some previous sales experience gained through a part-time job, internship, side hustle, or a similar environment.
• Skills: A strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile, coupled with a competitive, ambitious, goal-oriented mindset, confidence communicating, and resilience in responding positively to challenges.
• Bonus: An expected GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, and while Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship degrees are preferred, all degree backgrounds will be considered.
