This Staff Accountant role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely vendor payments, and supporting essential month-end close processes, contributing directly to the company’s operational integrity.

• Team: Accounting team, reporting to the Controller.
• Mission: Keep financial records accurate, pay vendors on time, and support the team through month-end close.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain: Help maintain the general ledger and record journal entries.
• Process: Process vendor invoices and prepare payments accurately and on time.
• Support: Support month-end close, including bank, billing, and subscription revenue reconciliations.
• Assist: Assist with departmental cost reporting, ad hoc reports, and various projects.
• Audit: Help prepare for the annual external audit and respond to auditor requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Entry-level understanding of accounting concepts such as accruals, month-end close, and the general ledger.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience, with internships counting.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, attention to detail, willingness to learn, ability to multi-task, and ability to meet deadlines.
