This Staff Accountant role is crucial for their growing accounting and finance team, taking ownership of full-cycle Accounts Receivable, monthly close processes, account reconciliations, and audit support, with significant potential for career advancement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process financial transactions by submitting them to journals, ledgers, and other records.
• Ensure account accuracy by verifying, allocating, and reconciling transactions plus resolving discrepancies.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and prepare monthly variance analyses for expenses and balance sheet accounts.
• Support audit activities by analyzing general ledger accounts and providing necessary information to auditors.
• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and execute monthly close procedures and account reconciliations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 1-3 years experience in Accounting with GAAP Audit familiarity and heavy General Ledger experience, including balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset management.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office/G Suite, a mid-level ERP system (WorkBook/Deltek), and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V/X-lookup, SumIF, custom formulas, keyboard shortcuts, and use of function keys).
• Bonus: Experience with Netsuite/Oracle Systems, particularly system implementation experience.
