The Tone:
This is a full-time Accounting Co-op position at Total Quality Logistics, located in Cincinnati, OH. Total Quality Logistics, a leading provider in the logistics industry and Cincinnati’s largest privately-held company, requires an Accounting Co-op to join its team. This paid co-op role is integral to the accounting department’s operations, providing crucial support for the preparation, comprehensive analysis, and clear communication of vital financial information and key business metrics. The co-op will gain valuable experience by directly contributing to understanding and maintaining the company’s fiscal health and ensuring accurate operational performance reporting.

• Mission: To support the accounting team by preparing, analyzing, and communicating vital financial information and business metrics.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Processes Management: Manage the full scope of customer refund and rebate processes.
• General Ledger Operations: Oversee daily bank activity and accurately book all transactions into the general ledger.
• Financial Reporting Support: Assist comprehensively in the financial reporting process, including the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial data, statements, reports, and all supporting documentation.
• Account Reconciliation: Timely reconcile assigned general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Audit Contribution: Contribute to the efficient coordination of the year-end audit performed by the external accounting firm.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a strong GPA; Entry-Level career level.
• Experience: Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: High accuracy in daily work; capability to meet schedules and deadlines; excellent organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail.
