• Mission: To support financial management functions, ensuring proper accounting, analyzing revenue, and investigating payment issues within a multi-state healthcare system.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Analyze and research patient accounts to ensure proper accounting.
• Investigation: Investigate root causes of incorrect or denied insurance payments.
• Data Gathering: Gather data for projects to support appropriate month-end closing entries.
• Optimization: Contribute to projects focused on revenue optimization.
• Goal Completion: Complete assigned goals related to financial functions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting with substantial coursework completed, including upper division coursework. Other degrees and coursework will be considered.
• Experience: Proficiency in spreadsheet software and other general technology solutions.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, good communication skills, detail-oriented with good time management skills.
• Bonus: Interest in working for a mission-based community organization.
